Lookup filtered CRM field in a SharePoint 2010 Office 365 List

I see that I can link SharePoint to document management in CRM. What I am hoping though is to use a SharePoint list to look up a field in CRM. What I need is to be able to have a field in SharePoint 2010 that is a drop down for 'Company Name' but this field looks into CRM and provides the drop down options based on certain filtered criteria. So if company name has a status of 'x' and a type of 'y' all the companies will show up in this drop down list in SharePoint. Is this possible?

    Yes, it is possible using what was previosly called BDC (Business Data Catalog) up to SharePoint 2007 and now
