Ship-to Code in Sales Order

(1) ShareShare

Good evening everyone,

I understand that the customer's address (the one in the vendor's card) is the one that is entered by default in the shipping address information in the sales orders.

Is there a way  that instead of having the vendor's address by default as shipping address I could have the actual shipping address without having to select it manually from the ship-to address list?

Does this need to be customized?

    Maria,

I hope you are referring Customer Card not Vendor, yes standard behavior on sales orders when you enter customer to pull the information from that customer, for other ship-to address you have to choose manually the ship-to code from ship-to address list or you have to customize it to add a field default ship-to code on customer card and use that on the sales orders.

    Hi Maria,

Yeah NAV is designed to work this way because companies can have multiple ship-to addreses. I don't know how you could do what you'd like without a customization.

    Hi Suresh,

Yes, sorry. I meant customer card. As always, thank you for your suggestion.

Thank you everyone for your answers. I just wanted to be sure this couldn´t be done with native NAV.

    Best regards.
