Hi,

Microsoft have deprecated the current 2016 licensing, meaning you can't renew a 2016 subscription anymore. This forces you down the route of purchasing new D365 licenses. My question is, if you wish to stick with the CRM Update 1 environment, is this possible with D365 licensing and where does the already existing CRM 2016 instance sit with regards to subscriptions? Is it transferred to one of the new D365 subscriptions?

The existing Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online plan will be retired effective November 1, 2016. However, if you have a current subscription, this change won’t affect you right away. As a global administrator, you’ll receive email updates and see posts in the message center (part of the Office 365 admin center) with information on when you need to take action.

I would recommend you to contact MS Dynamics Billing for more details.
