Hello Everyone,

I am new to AX7 development. How do I filter products by channel from the tables (InventTable, EcoResProduct etc.)? E.g.: find products for e-commerce channel.

    Hi Macara,

Can you explain if you only need table names, code examples or the form where the setup is done? What is the purpose of your question?

    Hi André,

I need to export products information to a csv file. I am trying to create a data entity with select fields for products. I need table names and would like code examples if possible.

    Thanks,

    Macara

    Hi Macara,

Take one step back. What is the purpose of the CSV file? Why aren't you using the build in functions which also updates products to on-line stores and POS devices? It seems you are using the setup, but not the retail server.

    Hi Andre,

The CSV file is for sending product data to an online store that is third party. All channel products are maintained in AX but the e-commerce products info are periodically sent to the online store.

    Thanks,

    Macara

    Hi Macara,

I don't know the exact table names by heart. I thought the records with detailed items per channel is updated using one of the scheduled jobs. The setup is based on Channel/Category hierarchy properties.

At a customer we are using services to route a message through BizTalk to third-party POS devices and an on-line store. Are you trying to get the CSV file transferred automatically or do you need to send it by e.g. mail?

    Hi André,

The CSV file will be sent to an FTP location that is picked up by the online store. I am trying create a query (or create a data entity) to get the data set for creating the CSV file.

    Thanks,

    Macara

    Hi Macara,

I came across a table which might be filled with help of the retail jobs: RetailAssortmentExploded

This table might then contain the list of items per assortment.
