Well, that was exactly what I told you on the very beginning. :-)
it works perfectly by using DimensionStorage::GetMainAccountFromLedgerDimension(RecID _LedgerDimension)
with ledgerDimension value you can get the Main account name with following method MainAccount::findByLedgerDimension() or with MainAccountId value you can use MainAccount::findByMainAccountId(). You may also refer to the DimensionAttributeValuCombination table. Anything that uses dimensions will hold reference to a record on this table.
the first segment includes Main account
What do you mean by the description of a segment?
By the way, main account isn't required to be the first segment. Therefore you should decide whether you mean the first segment or the segment with main account (before you start implementing anything).
i mean Ledger dimension includes 3 segments ;what i need precisely to display the description of the first segment which is always Main Account so how can i do that??
I already answered what I understand by that. I have no idea what else you can mean by "the name of main account from ledger dimension".
Unless you provide a better explanation, I can't help you.
