Hello Folks,

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you

We are using GP 2010 SP 2 with SQL 2008 R2

One of our get this message while making any change to a line item to Sale Order, "removing SOP lines when the order is locked because picking process has begun for this order is not allowed"

Did any one experience this and is there fix for this as well ?

Regard,

So have you checked to make sure this order is not in process of being picked?  If not, it sounds like a record lock.  Iwould run Check Links on the SO Work tables to see if that fixes it.

    Hi Frank,

Thanks for your kind and quick reply. Yes, we did check as we don't use GP for fulfillment. We have a another Warehouse Mangement piece installed and that message is not from that applicaiton.

Running check links could be one of the option and I will see if we can run that.

Were you ever able to figure out what caused this error to begin with?  It doesn't seem to be a normal GP error that I am used to seeing.

    Hi Viol-8-r et al,

I just ran through the workflow and it would let me delete a line item at any time during the Pick/Pack/Ship process.

Are you using Advanced Distribution or Workflow?  When you open the transaction in the SOP Entry screen, what is the Document Status displayed in the lower right-hand corner of the window?

    Kind regards,

    Leslie
