routing issue going from manufactured good as each's to finished units as boxes

we are currently working to implement BC365 and I am setting up the routing steps for our manufacturing process of all our finished goods. This issue I am having is we track out production as each during the entire manufacturing process until it is packaged then 100 each's are recoded as 1 box. This causes an issue is the labor tracking and time taken to complete a work order in the routing set up. Is there a way to convert from each to box so we can correctly track time and labor in the routing steps.

I have the same question (0)

    hi

you can convert the units of measurement from "each" to "box" in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for your manufacturing process. Here are the steps to do so:

Open the "Manufacturing Setup" page in Business Central.

In the "Manufacturing Setup" page, select the "Unit of Measure Conversion" option.

Click on the "New" button to create a new unit of measure conversion.

In the "Unit of Measure Conversion" page, enter the item number for the finished good.

In the "Unit of Measure Conversion" page, enter the "from unit of measure" as "each" and the "to unit of measure" as "box".

Enter the conversion factor in the "Conversion Factor" field. For example, if 100 eaches make one box, enter 0.01 as the conversion factor.

Save the unit of measure conversion.

Once you have set up the unit of measure conversion, you can use the "box" as the unit of measurement in the routing steps for your manufacturing process. This will enable you to correctly track time and labor in the routing steps based on the "box" unit of measurement.
