Purchase requisitions can be generated by any employee in our organization and as non-GP users they are not finding it intuitive to enter the level of detail that the requisition entry screen requires. We do not use inventory and therefore have to populate many redundant fields. Is there any way of customizing this screen to reduce the amount of data a user is required to enter?
Alternatively, are there any cost-effective applications that we should be considering to better fit our organizational needs? We require mobile access to requisitions and would like a simple, user friendly solution.

I have the same question (0)Hi Kayleigh,
you hit a point that hurts.. the new requisition entry feature in GP that replaced the old SharePoint based Business Portal is less than stellar when it comes to UI experience.. and that's why we decided to move to a 3rd party product. There are a few out there based mostly on Web interface and connected to GP.. We went for eRequester, but your needs and preferences might differ, so I suggest strongly to contact your partner a look for a couple of products.
I wouldn't try to tamper or tweak the Requisition entry forms in GP, as they are linked to the workflow process and you may not know the impact that your changes could have to that.
Just my 2cts..
