Gift Card in locked status automatically in AX

Hi Everyone,

I have faced an issue where "Gift Card" has been locked automatically. The reason for this is not known. However AX has a standard functionality in unlocking the gift card.

Is anyone aware of the scenarios during which Gift card gets locked automatically. I have found a scenario when Partial payment is made using Gift card, then the gift card is locked till the sale is completed.

I would like to know other known scenarios.
