While learning more about Sales Transaction Entries, I noticed there were hidden BillTo and ShipTo address fields that would be visually valuable to the user. The ShipTo Address Line 1 was already visible by default, but located seperately on the top of the form. The BillTo fields are local fields and the ShipTo fields are global fields.
When I create a new invoice, all the address fields fill in appropriately based on customer information. However, if I change any of the addresses using the Sales Customer Detail Entry window, only the ShipTo Address Line 1 is updated on the screen. But if you save the invoice and reopen, then all the ShipTo address fields display the update correctly; however, the BillTo Address (local) fields are now blank.
Does anyone know how to force those BillTo local fields and ShipTo global fields to refresh when there is a change? Does anybody know why the ShipTo Address Line 1 updates immediately, but the rest of the ShipTo fields don't? Does anybody know why the BillTo fields are blank when you reopen a saved invoice?
