How to use content blocks on landing pages and forms

Hello everyone,

Just want to check if any of you have the same issue?

I am unable to create content blocks for landing pages or forms using any of the designer elements. As soon as I add a section in the content block designer the option to make the content block available for landing pages and forms disappears.

Here is a video of what it looks like for me.

Have any of you used this in the past? I noticed there is this video from Megan Walker using the functionality and she doesn't seem to have the same issue I am facing.  https://youtu.be/wpJIMujcy1U?t=172

    Hi,

According to Microsoft support this is by design. You can't have sections in a content block that you want to use on forms and landing pages.

    Hi Edgar,

I thought I had the same issue but I actually found out what might be the difference: According to Microsoft, Content Blocks are only used for Emails: learn.microsoft.com/.../content-blocks

But there is a difference: When you are creating an email and for instance you create a header with a 2-column section that contains a logo and text, then you can save this as a new content block. This block actually can only be used in other emails but not on forms or pages.

To use content blocks on forms or pages you need to create a content block from scratch in the content block area. There you don't have the option to select sections with more columns but you can create one block for your logo and another one for your text. Afterwards you can use both as well on pages and forms (actually you see the availability in the settings like in the video):

If this helps you I would appreciate a mark as suggested answer.
