Problem with connecting Adyen terminal to D365 Commerce

Hello,

We are trying to connect Adyen terminals to D365 commerce cpos. Did everything that is mentioned under this link

Set up Dynamics 365 Payment Connector for Adyen - Commerce | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn

but still getting this error when choosing pay by card option

Someone maybe have idea what can be cause of this problem ? I will mention that actually i don't have access to the error logs so i cant see the detail of this error. I can share also setting in D365 if someone know how to deal with Adyen payments configs.

    Hello Matthex69, I am currently in the same situation.

    I understand you are in CPOS.

    Did you create a MS incident ? Any feedback ?

    Hello, i did not created MS incident because I'm not sure if the fault is with microsoft or the d365 configuration. The problem starts to appear when I add a payment connector jn EFT service in POS hardware profile. Have you perhaps managed to find a solution ?

    Hi!

    Did you pair your POS with hardware station?

    POS tries to load web payment page, it is not going to use real Adyen payment device - that normally happens when you test without hardware station paired.

    Hello thanks for Your respond,

    I did everything that is mentioned under this documentation

    1. Created connector under Account receivable -> Payment Setups -> Payment Services

    2. Added Connector to the hardware profile in  retail & commerce ->  POS profiles -> Hardware Profiles.

    3. Configured IP Address in retail & commerce -> POS Setup -> Registers -> Choose register that is connected to CPOS -> Configure IP Address

    I can also send photos of my settings if this description is insufficient.

    I'm new to d365 retail so i don't know if any additional settings need to be done.

    This error massage starts to appear after point 2 when adding connector to the hardware profile.

    Is this possible to change the settings so that the store connects to the payment terminal as in the following video ?

    I am wondering if any additional actions besides those mentioned in the following documentation should be performed to establish a connection with the terminal, for example, if we operate on the cloud pos, the hardware station should be downloaded and installed ?

    Hi, we faced this issue as well. As far as I can tell, the documentation is a little misleading/unclear. We solved this by creating a Dedicated hardware station in the store configuration as described here in the dedicated section. It mentions this includes configuring the built-in hardware station.
    Peripherals - Commerce | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn

    This is talked about in the Peripherals docs, but not the Hardware Station or Adyen docs. So, we setup a dedicated station pointed at the hardware profile and turn on hardware station in the POS. This should auto pair with the dedicated station.

    So if I understand correctly, I need just to assign hardware profile to store register and then in the selected store add hardware station - dedicated, nothing need to be installed ? If it is possible to know which hardware profile you used ? Because I do not fully understand the differences between them ?
