Full database synchronization failed in D365FO

Hi,

what could be the root cause of this issue and how to solve this. Please suggest.

Can you do a full build of all non-Microsoft models (I.e. your customizations) without errors?

How did the error come about?

Is this happening on a fresh deployed VM? Did you create new data entity or duplicate an existing one?

Hi Komi,

its not a new VM, suddenly this issue starts coming while doing full sync.

I also doubted data entity and verified all customization data entity, public collection name and public entity names are different only.

It’s difficult to say without seeing the full synchronization log.

Sometimes you can get more detailed information by running the synchronization from the command line, for example using Invoke-D365DBSync from d365fo.tools.

Is this the only CHE with issues? If so, I’d recommend just redeploying it, especially if it’s getting old. It’s often not worth the effort to troubleshoot errors in these environments.

In PowerShell:

Start by installing d365fo.tools, if you haven't already: https://github.com/d365collaborative/d365fo.tools/wiki/Tutorial-Install-Administrator

Run this command to stop all F&O services: Stop-D365Environment -All

Perform the synchronization: Invoke-D365DBSync -ShowOriginalProgress

This command can also dump the output to a file, if you need it.

Run this command to start all F&O services: Start-D365Environment -All

Hi Vigneshwaran,

You can refer to this link to run the database synchronization through the command line. Use either of these cmdlets as Jonas mentioned and use the command highlighted.

Invoke-D365DBSync -ShowOriginalProgress

or use Invoke-D365DBSyncModule <modelname> that you are looking to sync (if you are looking to sync specific modules or models).

Can you list the specific changes you made or came on latest just before this issue raised? We recently faced this and on commented and uncommenting the List related contract classes and logics, issue resolved and never came again.

After generating full synchronization from command prompt, am getting the below issue.

But the highlighted field is not available in the entity, then I don't understand why this issue is coming.
