Tab key not working

Hi. I need help.

Everyday i have to register tons of information on Finance amd Operations - Dynamics 365. I usually do it like this: Create the diary, and then i start to include the data and info in the entry row. To go from one column to another, i use the "tab" key.

The problem is that since a couple of weeks ago, it became a nightmare. When i press the "tab" key to go to the next column, it goes backwards, to the very start. How can i fixe it?

Hi, It might be related to your Keyboard settings and not related to D365FO application. For me, Clicking Tab button moves to next field and Clicking Shift + Tab moves to backwards to previous field.

I tried changing the laptop but it seems to be related with my account! I used the laptop of a coworker; her tab key was working well with her account, but once I logged in mine, the problem was still there.

What's the system behavior if you click Shift+Tab in a form grid.

Try comparing all User Preferences fields with your colleague's account setting.

Hi,

Perhaps your companys IT department can assist you because I would guess it to be somehoe related to your Windows settings. So when you log on to another laptop, your Windows settings are applied on that lap too. I would be very surprised if this has anything to do with Dynamics 365 Finance to be honest.

ThanksAnton Venter I'm glad it worked but I'm equally surprised as I tried enabling and disabling Tab sequence and could not replicate this issue. And the functionality of Tab sequence is not to change direction of Tab.
