Step by step guide on how to setup and test Email to case process on CRM online

I got instruction on how to setup server side synchronization and I try to set up email to case process but I could not make it to work. I am new to microsoft dynamics crm. I am looking for step by step guide setup Email to case process. I also want to guess that server side sychronization is the new way of linking CRM to Email server.

I will also like to get a link or documentation on how crm online works.

    Hi Segun,

    Can you check in the Email entity, is that any incoming email?

    If yes, then the only missing is the Email to Case automatic creation.

    Then, you go to All Active Cases view, not from Queue, can you see the Case?

    If yes, then the only missing is Queue case.

    You should back to the customization and mark the Queue automation create in the Case entity.

    Thanks a lot for the link.

    I followed the instructions on the link but nothing happen. I can't see any case that has been log, I don't know what I am missing.

    I have configure server side synchronization and test enable user on the crm. The test email is delivered to the user mailbox on the exchange online server. I went ahead and create Email to Case from one of the users queue. I also make sure I activate it but there is still no case.

    I am looking for "steps and highlight" of a simple sample of a WORKING "Email to case" scenario.
