Hi, I am experimenting at the momement with product catalog in crm 2016. Can some show me the right way to begin with. Where should i begin? How i make the relation to contracts.

Create discount lists to offer your products and services at different prices, depending on the quantity purchased.
Define the measurements or quantities your products will be available in.
Create a unit group and add units to that group :
Define pricing for your products.: Classify products and bundles into product families - OR - Create price lists and price list items to define pricing of products
Select one of the price lists to which you added the product as the default price list for the product. Microsoft Dynamics CRM uses the default price list for calculations when the associated price list in the opportunity or order for the product doesn’t contain a price definition of the product.
also, Contract lines are used for invoicing. The contract must have contract lines before the status can be changed from draft to invoiced. Contract lines contain data such as specific dates, products and how many cases or how much support time is included.
