Hi
Can anyone advise where the flag is to switch this functionality on which when you set up a new contact in NAV it automatically creates a person contact as well.

Hi,
It happens by default in base NAV as soon as you create new Customer from Customer Card Page it automatically creates new Contact.
For future inquirers, this is controlled on the Marketing Setup page. When there is a value in the Bus. Relation Code for Customers field, then Contacts are automatically created.
The same goes for the Bus. Relation Code for Vendors and Bank Accounts.
I'm guessing you'll also need a value in the Contact Nos field, under the Numbering fast tab.
