Hi,

I would like to add assets in project as resource and want to calculate the depreciation according to impairment of asset. Is it possible to depreciate the asset as per their loss due to use in business.

How can we use Japanese localization in Ax R3, How can I implement  this process with impairment accounting process. Please help.

    Hi axap,

The standard fixed asset module allows you a consumption based depreciation.

Have you tried making use of this functionality?

    Hi Ludwig,

    Thanks for your help

I've created depreciation profile with consumption method and other setup in fixed asset module related to depreciation and value module, and also depreciation consumption proposal is working fine, but it required manual entry for number of unit we've for fixed asset.

Now my question is how can I assign a fixed asset in project as a resource and calculate "consumption proposal" automatic according to consumed asset in project instead of manual entry for asset consumption.

    Thanks.

    Hi axap,

Not sure if I got your question right.

You plan to post the depreciation of your fixed asset on your project. Is that right?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi axap,

This is not supported in the standard application and you have to find a workaround how this can be achieved.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
