    Hello,

first I want to ask where did you find "Batch No" in Business Central?
I only know about Lot No. and Serial No. for item tracking.

In my opinion the expression "Batch" and "LOT" are used for the same process....to track items which are produced in 1 process with and the lot-no. is used to track these items. (e.g. chemicals, liquids, nutriments, steel etc.)

    Regards

    Hi

As Thomas mentioned I also interested to know where is Batch No in BC?

In general term lot no usually refer to number that use for individual item. But some companies pack a few individual item in a bigger package then use Batch No for the bigger package.
