    Hello Pradap,

Please find answers to question 1 below.

1.Which Version of Visual Studio should be installed? See blog post @ community.dynamics.com/.../the-new-dynamics-ax-and-visual-studio-licenses

2.In Which Machine should I install the Visual Studio? See Nikolaos & Sohaib response.

3.What is the connection mechanism with AOS application and Visual Studio? Can you give us some more details for this question?

I updated this post and removed my answer to question 2 because it was incorrect. Nikolaos & Sohaib have the correct response to this. Only Microsoft pre-built DEV machines should be used for Development in D365FO.

As far as I know, development in D365FO should always be done with the pre-configured onebox virtual machines. You can deploy them to cloud or host them on premises, but no software installation is needed.

"The development experience continues to be the same as in cloud deployments through 1-box VHDs."

Whether its a cloud box or on-prem, the ready pre-built DEV machines are available for download as well as for deployment on cloud. You should not worry about version of Visual Studio. All you should do is to sing-in for VS account that will validate License for your VS. if you want to license that with Keys, without sign-in, that option is also available. also, you should not worry how connection is done between VS and AOS. It is something already done, by Microsoft.
