Hi,
What is the best way to create a fixed assets depreciation forecast upto Dec 2020.
I thought of creating a depreciation proposal upto Dec 2020. Export the data to excel and then delete the depreciation proposal.
Please let me know if there are better ideas and is there any risk to the solution I have?
Hi Hossam,
Can you not just go to the fixed asset and books and then check in profile, export the same.
It will give you the future depreciation schedule.
This will work for individual fixed asset. Is there a way to acheive it for a fixed asset group?
Hi Hossam EL Hassan,
My personal favorite is an electronic report that provides you with the depreciation forecast data.
There is no risk included in this solution but you need a bit of time for the one-time setup of the report.
Best regards,
Ludwig
Thanks Ludwig,
Can you send me the steps to setup the electronic report.
Hello Hossam,
You can find the information here:
docs.microsoft.com/.../general-electronic-reporting
Some examples are available on my blog as well but not for the fixed asset depreciation forecast.
Yet, you can use the general process and simply use a different datasource for this report.
