Company Upgrade Error 2013 -> 2015 GP

Posted on by

Running an upgrade from GP 2013 to GP 2015.  I do have the newest iso for 2015 and 2013 is on the newest release.

There are about 8 companies.  All the companies seemed to run fine till it got to the last and gave me these two errors.

The following SQL statement produced an error.
Exec sp_bindfault N'[dbo].[GPS_INT], N'[DD20100].[DDREMAIN]

Error[Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0][SQL Server] The default 'GPS_INT' does not exist

Then said upgrade failed and exited the utilities.

I have tried my best searching for an answer but have come up short.  Anyone have any ideas on this error?

    Under that company database, if you look in SQL and go under Programmability and expand Defaults, you should see the GPS_INT default, along with GPS_CHAR, GPS_DATE and GPS_MONEY.......verify those exist.

    We'll probably need a support case to look at this more, unless it really is this default missing.

    Thanks
