How to add a filter to LedgerTransListAccount Report ?

Hi all, 

Could someone help me to find a way to add a filter on LedgerTransListAccount Report, because i tried to modify Class Contract by adding a new parameter but it didnt appear when i launched my report ?

    Hi Awaxx,
     
    1. For adding a new parameter to the standard report - You need to extend the contract class and add the new parameters.
    2. Duplicate the DP class - Add the range for the new parameter in the DP class Logic.
    3. Now duplicate the SSRS report and point out to the newly mentioned DP class.
    4. Duplicate the controller class also and change the report name to your custom name.
    5. Now create extension for the report output menu item - Change the object to your custom controller class.
    In this way you can add a new parameter to standard report - You cannot simply extend the contract class and adding parameters wont work.

    Hi girish,

    When i said i added a parameter to the contract class that means that i already duplicated all i need for it, like Controller class, Menu Item, Report, DP class and Builder ...

    The duplication of all needed objects is done (i guess), but what its not working is that the parameter i added didnt appear nowhere.

    Have you extended the output menu item and map the new controller class?
    If tried please restart the SQL server reporting service and check.

    Yes i mapped it too, everything is working like the standard one but just i could not have any new parameter appearing on it.

    I restarted many times SSRS service too but no change on it

    Did you change the contract class on DP class? I mean on the top of the DP class you will mention the DC class name using SRSReportParameterAttribute.
    Have you changed that?

    Did the newly added parameter visible under the SSRS report parameter node?
    Also, on the controller class please confirm that you are point to your custom report instead of standard report.

    My new parameter appears on SSRS node

     
    class controller linked too.

    i will redo all the process step by step, maybe i m missing something.

    Have you added the new Menu item output to the front end?
    You need to set the visible property to No on the standard report and add your custom menu item output.
