Dynamics GP Test Environment

I'd like set up a test environment alongside a GP Installation in order to test patches, upgrades, customizations, etc.  A test company on the production server isn't enough separation, so I'd like to run the test environment on it's own virtual server. Does this require the purchase of an additional GP license?

    Thanks callen,

    I will be using a seperate virtual server, and connecting to a seperate named SQL Server instance on the DB Server.  I was just unsure if running 2 instances of GP on seperate servers would violate the license agreement.

    No, you should be fine. I know many clients who have the ability will use either a separate server or a virtual environment.
