Wave demand replenishment.
We are working with special liftruck which picks laterally only. To prevent this device to travel the whole of a corridor to its end to make a U-turn to put a picked container from a reserve location to a picking location which is not on the same side, we use a very unefficient process : the Location directives makes that the Put is done to an interim dummy location and then the operator makes a move to an adequate location situated on the same side of a corridor.
I have understood from the documentation and observations that the wave demand replenishment will decide on which locations are to be replenished to satisfy the demand of a specific items. But i do not see any documentation which would help me to set up the Select products query in such a way that I can control the from location. I tried using a Joins to the On-hand list table in the hope I could select zone or sub-zones but that does not seem to work.
I would be grateful if somebody could offer some help

You can call out a directive code on your Replenishment template and then create location directive for Pick replenishment work that calls out that same directive code.
