Is it possible to enable a 'Quick Create' form for use only on sub-grids?

It would be preferable to be able to have a Quick Create from used on a sub -grid but to not have the Quick Create form added to the Quick Create navigation bar.

I have some entities that would only ever be called from a sub-grid but now the Quick Create navigation bar has unnecessary tiles on it.

I am using CRM 2016 and I am having the same issue. Without the context, the quick create from the navigation bar seems pointless.

Did you found a solution since then?

Hi Paul, Enable Quick Create Form on the Entity and Create the Quick Create form , will allow Quick create to work for both the Nav Bar and the Subgrid, you wont be able to disable it from the Nav bar , but you could try using the Ribbon Workbench

Hi PaulDenwood,
I f you want to create Quick Create Form over Subgrid than first create on Entity which you put on subgrid an Quick Create Form and publish it. Than when you open Entity you will see "+" charachter on subgrid click on it it will open Quick Create Form for this entity.

First create quick create form

than create a subgrid on entity for this entity and publish it when you open entity;

when you click on "+"

you will get quick create form for subgrid entity.
