Hi,

I am a new to Microsoft Dynamics. Just wondering what is sku and commodity? And how are they related to one another? Is there a aliases name for both in Microsoft Dynamics?

Thanks in advance

Cheers

SKU stands for "Stock-keeping unit"; never heard of this acronim to be mentioned in the Dynamics AX (DAX) documentation. Probably an alias for SKU in DAX is ItemId although a single item (identified by a single ItemId) can have multiple item dimensions (configuration, size, color, etc) that might be maintained as different SKUs.
A term commodity is once mentioned in the DAX documentation in the meaning "the item's code for Intrastat reporting".
