Compilation troubles

i had an issue with compilation yesterday .. i tried to compile all classes but the system stopped before finishing the compilation .. which is causing so many errors now most of reports don't work .. how can i compile all classes across the ax system .. ax is runnig across 3 servers ..  i sopped services in server 01 before doing the compilation on the same server .. should i stop services in all servers before doing the compilation ..or should i do full aot compilation .. pleas help

    You should stop all but 1 AOS before compiling. And then compile the whole AOT. And finally generate full CIL.

    You should use axbuild.exe to compile the x++ code (this uses parallelism, whereas the compilation from AX client uses only one thread and takes long time): docs.microsoft.com/.../axbuild-exe-for-parallel-compile-on-aos-of-x-to-p-code

    Please let us know more details if you still have issues.

    thank you Nikolas .. i did as you described above  i got some errors and after resolving them .. i repeated the cil  .. now after completing the cil  reports do open but the dont fetch data (i get empty reports )  or error (no report data table with name..........) ..tried to restart reporting services and clearing cache  and usage data but also reports are not working

    First, synchronize the database.

    You could try to redeploy the reports.

    You mention error "no report data table with name...". Did you check if such table exists or not?

    did all that .. after cil or synchronize  the report will open .. but no data .. after deployment  i get (Parameter _reportName cannot be null or empty.) and when i compile classes the errors go away .. then i rebuild and deployed the report  .. and know something changed the report parameter  i get 4 fields to enter (from - to )dates  instead of two ... strange case
