HI All,

I really need your help here. I have a company "A" as Parent Business Unit. I have companies "B", "C" and "D" as child companies.(Diffent Business Units).

Can I create a Buisness Proceees Flow(Opportunity Sales Process) for my child company "D", without affecting company's "A"(Parent company) Business Process? Please let me know ASAP.

You can have multiple Business Process Flows (BPF) defined for an entity. However, at any given point of time a record can only be related to one BPF.

    Yes.  As Mamatha says.

You might want to have 3 BPFs e.g. Small customer, Medium Customer, Large Customer.

You could assign these with a little but of code (based on an attribute e.g. Size of Customer = Small, Medium or Large, or business unit of Owner).  Alternatively users can choose a BPF to use for a particular customer by going to ... Switch Process and selecting from those available.  (Scott's blog below demos this.)

Code to select - see Scott's blog:

    community.dynamics.com/.../how-to-change-process-and-stage-programmatically

To trigger based on a field in the BPF itself you may also need to refer to:

    Hi,

You can control who has access to specific processes by security role:

    www.powerobjects.com/.../control-access-to-business-processes-security-role

Than you can create different Business Process flow that would address the needs of each company and process data accordingly.

Design a BPF for company A and assign a role so only Team A can use that BPF.
