Btw., we ARE looking into giving partners and customers more control over this aspect, including creating multiple sandbox environments and controlling which country they get created for, but it's not clear how and when this will be supported.

Then i probably understand what is happening. I am working for a partner that is multinational and the sandbox i am getting has the same country as the country where our corporate headoffice is located. I do not want to disclouse to much information about this in public. Is there any way we can communicate a litte more private in order to solve my issue ?

Generally speaking, the country that is set on your AAD tenant is used to determine which Business Central country we create your environments for.
If you let me know your AAD tenant ID (or your domain e.g. x.onmicrosoft.com), I can take a look to see what happens.
