how to get running balance in customer account statement

Using rms 2.0 have tried to edit the statement template a running balance as it appears in the customer account information tab

date/transaction/ref/amount/running balance.

the running balance increaments or decreases after every transaction. can i achieve this kind of statement or report?

kindly help needed urgently. much appreciation in advance

    Thank you for your question.

    RMS does not tract a running total for each transaction, and as the statements simply pulls data directly from the database, this may be difficult to do.

    In addition, as the statement itself does not create the running total, you would need to add a formula to the template that sums each previous line entries on the statement together for each line, as there is not a way to store a temp running total for a statement in RMS.
