Just upgraded a client to GP2010 and deployed templates for invoices.
Client loved the way they looked tested a few documents and was happy, until they tried to print a batch containing 15 invoices to printer. Nothing prints, no error message nothing?
Is this a known issue or is there a problem with our deployment?

You shouldn't have issue using the new Word Templates in a batch print scenario. I've seen batches of 700+ documents processed this way (this is a bit excessive). Is the same machine that is batch processing the same machine where a single file could be rendered?
