How to change the default value of Direct Transfer in Transfer Order

Hi,

I am new about Business Central.

I want to know if I can change the default value on Direct Transfer in Transfer Order.

We don't use In-Transit location when transferring items. I always check Direct Transfer when I create Transfer Order.
Is there a good way to avoid checking Direct Transfer?

Thanks in advance!

I have the same question (1)

    Hi Omae,

Thank you for posting your question about the Direct Transfer on a Transfer Order.

There is no out of the box setting to have Direct Transfer = YES on a Transfer Order as far as I'm aware.  You would want your Partner to add that as an Extension/Add-on/Modification.

If you have warehouse functionality however on some of your locations, you will want to be careful.  For example, if you have Require Warehouse Receipt, then a Warehouse Receipt Document should be created and the receipt should then be posted from the Warehouse Receipt Document, not from the Transfer Order....so it can get a bit tricky in those scenarios.

Best may be to have have the extension/modification default it from the Transfer Routes, so it can pull from there if you transfer from a vanilla (no warehouse functionality) location to a vanilla location.

    Hope that helps:)

    Thank you, Bryan!

I will look for an Extension or other way, like customization, etc.
