I am not able to upload image for a product when using image upload feature in release products.

it works fine for my colleague.

For me it gives following message.

Document type is defined for image and location is set to upload to Azure storage

Could you please paste the complete error message ?

Note: If you are uploading the  images to show on the POS, it is recommended to use media template and your own media server( which can be azure blob storage, file server or any digital asset management platform which can provide direct URL for images).

I will look into using a media server.

The only thing which can be different here is user rights for uploading images.

Because my colleague can upload images.

Do you know if there are any user rights for this operation?

I can see a privilege called "Manage product image" which is linked to the OOB role "Purchasing Agent". Can you try assigning the "Purchasing Agent" role to your user and see if it works.

I have applied this permission but i am still not able to upload the images.

Is it possible to find which Azure Storage account are the images uploaded to.

May be there is some user settings i need to do there.

If you apply, system admin access yourself. Is it working ? If it is working for your colleague on the same environment. It should work for your as well.

I have applied for system admin access myself. But I still get the same error.

I am a new user on this project and this issue is with all other new users on the project.

Old users are able to upload images for products, so it seems there is some setting.

I was thinking if it is some access issue with the Azure storage account.

    Regards,

    Sunil
