Good morning,

We are getting the following error when trying to save a record in the SOP user defined fields:

A save operation on table 'sopUsrDefWorkHist' failed converting the retrieved data

I looked for this message on line and found nothing, but I did find a couple of other articles that led me to believe that the commentID (sy04200) table was causing this problem. In a development environment, I deleted all the commentID's, clearing out the SY04200 table, and the error no longer happened.

My question is why did that work - is there a size limit on the sy04200 table or comment ID's in general? If so, is there an easy way to tell how big each row or table is?
