Dynamics Ax Data Archiving method

Hello experts,

Can some one guide me how to archive Dynamics Ax 2012  R3 Cu 13 last year 5 data for the improvement of system performance.

I have 6 companies in AX.

kindly guide me how can I archive the data and only use current and last year data.
