Hi,
I've setup a Customer Journey that will send an email to contacts based on a date field on Contact. I would like to send a reminder email later in my journey that is, say a week before that particular date on that date field for any contact in the journey. I see the "Wait Until" tile but it doesn't look like there's a dynamic way to tell it to "Wait until 7 days before date". Is this possible within the Customer Journey or am I going to have to setup some workflow that the Journey checks?

Please use "Wait For" to provide the number of days before sending the reminder. Please refer to below screenshot.

I need it to check a date field on the Contact to determine how long it should wait. It doesn't look like "Wait For" will do that. In other words, it needs to be "Wait for 7 days before date from date field on Contact".
Would you like to send a reminder email to all the contacts or only the ones who have not taken any action on the initial email?

It's a reminder email based on a date field change on Contact. I've got that already handled with a segment. With the Journey, I'm trying to have it check for that date field, know what date it is, and then Wait until 7 days before that date value on the Contact before it sends the reminder.
You can create a segment with the date as its condition.
For example, the field is arrival date. The segment can be set in the following way.
The value "7 days from now" will not be shown if you choose the "is" operator directly.
You have to choose the "Is within x" first. Then the value can be shown as below and you can switch the operator back to "Is".
After setting these, the contact will not be in the segment until 7 days before the arrival date.
