Not able to log into the browser panel after update

Hi.

I have updated my virtual development machine to version 17, after that, I went into visual studio and updated the models and synchronized the database.

Now I am trying to go into the browser and refresh the entity store, but it doesnt let me log in, I am not sure what account I should try to log in with. I tried both my domain account (which I dont see how it is connected), and the log in to the server, which is not an account.

What am I doing wrong? Why I can't login?

Thanks

Astrid

    Hello Astrid,

The message indicate you don't have permission to access URL, since you do the database restore, admin user may changed. As Andre mentioned please try AdminUserPrivisioning tools to provision admin user again. If it failed, you can connect to database and verify userinfo table for admin records  and compare with other environment which you can login to see the difference.

    Hi Astrid,

You used the application named AdminUserPrivisioning.exe as you mentioned in another reply. This is what I meant with the Admin provisioning tool. As it is returning an error 503, you have to check if the services are running correctly. Can you confirm the update to 10.0.17 was completed correctly without issues? Have you also tried to restart your VM to clear resources?

Yes, I did a restore of the database, from UAT and this are my permissions on UAT.

    I tried following this

    AOSService\PackagesLocalDirectory\Bin

here find application named AdminUserProvisioning.exe, open it.

In the field enter e-mail you use to log in in D365 and then click Submit.

After you get the message that admin user was changed you can try again, there will be no more any messages that you don't have rights.

and the I got the following error

    Hi Astrid,

Did you besides perform the update also restored e.g. a backup of a database? At least, you can try to use the admin provisioning tool to see if you can link the admin account to your Azure AD login.

I did find another thread about a similar issue, but I am not sure what to do, since it is the virtual machine I installed to develop. Here is someone having the same issue. community.dynamics.com/.../you-are-not-authorized-to-login-with-your-current-credentials-you-will-be-redirected-to-the-login-page-in-a-few-seconds

I am in a virtual server to develop. When you choose a table on the AOT, if I press click right, I get the option to open the table on the browser. But when the browser opens it ask me to login. And when I use my domain account to log in, I get the following error.

I need to get into that page, to refresh the entity store. And I am not able to do it.

Hi, what exactly do you mean by "it doesnt let me log in"? Could you share a screenshot?

Installing MS updates should not change the user list in any way. Did you do anything else? You can also check UserInfo table via SQL Server Management Studio to double check that your account is there. Or try to start the system by debugging a form via Visual Studio.
