Service Calendar Open Times Reporting

I know when scheduling a service activity in the service calendar it will allow you to see available times for a specified service activity that you are trying to schedule. This is helpful, but to take it a step further I would like to be able to know before a week starts at a global report level what facilities have any open appointment/service activity time slots during an 8-5 time frame for a specific service. The requirements for this implementation is that all facilities have to always have full service coverage during an 8-5 time window, so this report would help identify which facilities had service activity gaps so proper action could be taken to schedule proper resources. Any ideas on if this can be done easily? I'd assume there is some advanced fetch xml that could be written to accomplish this (being a crm online deployment), but didn't know if there was a simpler way through a report wizard or advanced find that anyone had advice on how to build..

    Hi Dan

This is something that I am working on using FieldService as a resource planning action (the customer wants to know what resource they have unbooked for the next week)

I explored 2 options for the customer

    1) A Container entity that rolls up the number of hours booked for the resources per week based on a date range, Then a calculation total hours available, Total Hours used and that gives your total hours left.

    2) A Power BI Dashboard with a Max field on the Axis then pull in the booked hours and it would give you a petrol gauge style used/free

The customer ended up not going with either as they didn't want to spend any money!
