Hello,

I'm trying to deploy CRM Dynamics 2011 on a Windows7 32bit machine, using SCCM 2007.

The commandline used is:

"SetupClient.exe" /config "Default_Client_Config.xml" REBOOT=ReallySuppress ALLOWRUN=1 INSTALLLEVEL=3 /q /l "C:\Windows\System32\CCM\Logs\\MS Dynamics CRM Outlook Client_Install.log"

On some machines the installation routine fails unexpected, according to the log file:

As you can see, the log is rather short and is not giving any reason for the failure. I really don't know what's the issue there.

Any hint is greatly appreciated.

Cheers

    Hi dryce,

First of all I would confirm if the requirements of the Crm for Outlook are ok, Windows 7 is ok but which version of Outlook is installed?

    www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

    Supported versions:

    Microsoft Office: •Microsoft Office 2010 (32 or 64-bit versions)

    •Microsoft Office 2007 (32-bit versions)

    •Microsoft Office 2003 SP3 (32-bit versions)

Check if the account used to run the proccess has administrative privilege.asd

Also it is not possible to configure the client withouth the user itself login on and create a outlook profile, if you are tryign to  configure the Dynamics crm for outlook it will fail.

You can check the installation logs on the path.

    c:\users\NAMEOFTHEUSER\appdata\local\Microsoft\MSCRM\Logs.

    Regards,

    Allan Silva
