EDI Nav Service

Hello All,

I am trying to implement integrated EDI for another company in our Nav DB.  Currently, there is an EDI Service that runs in the background for one company.  I want to enable integ EDI for another company for the same DB.  Can anyone please help guide me on how to make this happen?  I thought maybe since these 2 companies are in the same DB I don't have to create an EDI service.  But it doesn't seem to work for the second company I am implementing Integ EDI on.

Note that we are using Lanham's EDI to auto receive POs via Integ EDI.

Please help.

Hi Stephano.  I figured this out.  For EDI Service with a codeunit to run and process EDI docs, I needed to create a new Nav Service and specifiying the Company Name where I want to enable Integ EDI.  It's now up and running!

I RESTARTED all nav and EDI services but still, the Integ EDI xmlport only runs automatically for our one company. :(

    HI Stefano,

Yeah, I am thinking we don't need a new EDI service as well since the 2nd company resides in the same database.  I had restarted the EDI Service but I will also restart the Nav service as well.  Maybe I didn't restart the Nav Service yet.   Perhaps that will resolve the issue.  'will advise soon.

I've not understood the scenario, but if now you have an EDI service that works for a company, why a new instance of this service cannot be configured to work with another company in the same database?
