Convert Amount to words for INR currency

Hi,

I am trying to convert amount to words for INR currency.

example: 5,00,000 to Five lakhs

56,00,000 to Fifty six lakhs

I tried using

Globals::numeral2txt (amount),

Globals::numeral2txt_IN (amount);

But the value is not coming correct. 
instead of Five lakhs its coming as Five hundred thousand.

Please help.

    Hi Priya,

    The standard method should work, pl check the company parameters. I believe there must be some setting in either company parameter or GL parameter where you can define the  decimal separator so instead of 500,000 it will capture 5,00,000 in system and should give correct output using std method.
