Exporting Opportunity Data to CSV

Posted on by 15

Hi all,

We use Dynamics AX as an ERP and CRM 2013 as a CRM. I'm looking for a way of creating integration between Opportunities-> Orders in CRM 2013 and a Sales Order in Dynamics AX. Essentially what I want to be able to do is have sales reps in the field migrate their opportunities to orders, which will then export the necessary data into CSV, XML or Excel files to be read in by AX's AIF.

Is there a product on the market out there that would perform this function?

there is a connector tool available provided by Microsoft.

Its applicable on CRM 2011 and I have used it in past. This tool provides OOB connectivity between CRM and AX.

    Advantages:

    1. Provides OOB mapping and data transfer

    2. Can sync multiple entities.

    Disadvantage:

    2. Performance is lot to be desired off.

    3. Sometimes unstable and installation can be a real pain.

    Hi,

You can use Dynamics Connectors for CRM to Ax integration, I am sure you will be aware of this already but just want to mention. blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/.../connector-for-microsoft-dynamics-support-for-microsoft-dynamics-crm-beyond-dynamics-crm-version-2016

You can write your own custom extension to pre pare xml data from CRM using Js code which can be called from ribbon button.

You can use SSIS toolkit , www.inogic.com/.../exporting-data-from-dynamic-crm-using-ssis

    Hope it will help.
