Discrepency between Trial Balance & Financial Reporter

Hi Everyone,
 

I’m facing an issue where the Trial Balance does not match the Financial Reporter for a selected reporting period. I pulled the reports for the same date range, but the numbers are still not aligning.

After reviewing further, I noticed that one specific main account is driving the difference. However, I’m not able to determine the exact root cause behind the mismatch.
Could you please suggest what areas or configurations I should check to identify and resolve the discrepancy?

    Hi,
     
    a few things I usually check when I have these kind of problems:
    1) Reset Data mart and see if the discrepancy solves on MR side;
    2) Rebuuild the balances in Dynamics 365 for the main account set and see if the difference solves on D365 side;
    3) Be sure that in D365 and in MR you included the same layers;
    4) Double check the column and row definition for possible problems;
    5) To investigate further: You can launch the MR with transactions and export the transactions from the Trial Blanace so you see exactly the voucher(s) where the difference come from.
