I am trying to connect Dynamics 365 for Financials to a CRM instance on Dynamics 365. When I try connect I get the message Https://mydomain.crm.dynamics.com/XRMServices/2011/Organization.svc?wsdl=wsdl0 When I connect through my browser it shows the XML document fine. When I try to connect D365 for Financials to an "old" deployment of CRM Online, it connects fine. Even though that old deployment is now accessed through the Dynamics 365 URL. I have tried compare the two XML documents from the two different CRM deployments. I do see some differences around Authentication. The one that works has a reference to LiveID, the other doesn't, but I can't find any obvious problems, and obviously I can't change any of it any way. Any ideas anyone?

    Hi Tommy,

Unfortunately with this offering being so new I would open a ticket with Microsoft and see what they say. That link is for the soon to be deprecated services. You are correct and cannot change where Financials points to access the metadata.

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../dn281891.aspx

Hopefully someone has a work around, or let us know if you get resolved.

I updated our DEV instance to Dynamics365 and when trying to connect with Scribe workbench I still get the same error.

Does anybody know anything new about this? Our instance is online.

    Hello.

We have a NAV On prem instance and we try to syncronize it with our Dynamics 365. We get same issue.

I have udpated the  Xrm.Sdk dll and of course restarted the service. The issue doesn't dispear anymore but when we try to connect (by assisted setup or not) , the Nav instance crashes with the following message :

"The server "DynamicsNA100" was unable to process the request. The application will close"

Is there any other dll to update ?

I am not 100% but may be any other dlls which are referencing D365 such as Microsoft.Crm.Sdk.Proxy ?

Sorry to piggyback on your post, but I am getting the same issue connecting to a D365 system with the SDK downloaded only a few days ago.

If it makes a difference, my site is within the new United Kingdom region (crm11) as opposed to the standard EMEA region (crm4)

It should not make difference as long as long as application it self is using latest dlls

It could be something else which is causing issue? please do post your solution if you find one to help others

    Thanks

Despite the DLL versions being the most up to date, the NuGet packages associated to the solution were out of date. It may be worth updating these as well?
