GP Manufacturing Scrap Tied to Work Center or Routing

Hi:

An end user has asked if Scrap can be tied to a Work Center or Routing step in GP Manufacturing.

I have explained the various means of doing so in the Bill of Materials as well as from a transactions level through the Manufacturing Order, WIP, and Inventory adjustments.

But, are there any "workarounds" for allowing scrap to be tied to Work Centers or Routing steps?

I am not personally aware of any workarounds for this. Hopefully someone in the community might have a method that they are using to get around this design and share it with you.
