item is on PO but item inq. does not show on order, under item inquiry

  • I have item on a PO have not received yet but when I do item inq., it does not show "on order" and when I click on the link then it shows the PO created and Qty. Ordered  in GP.
  • Same situation another shows NEGATIVE on order while nowhere on any PO.

    Yes, you are right. that was the fix. unfortunately reconciliation is being run for long time here

    You can try an inventory reconcile...select just the one item and see if that fixes things.

    We run a full inventory reconcile every week as part of maintenance..we have a lot of inventory transactions.

    It can take several hours depending on the number of items you have.
