Incorrect period for Detail General Ledger Report

Posted on by 170

Hi all,

we are on SL7SP1 with hotfix 18037SY. We are experiencing the post period is incorrectly passing over to the report after installing this hot fix. When we change the report beg\end period, the report still shows the current period. I check the rptruntime table, and it sure does show the current period; however, this is not we saw on the ROI screen. Does any have the same problem? Any help is appreciated.

    Hi Nick,

I found a work around solution for this. The problem does happen to all users. After enter beginning and ending period, the user has to hit tab key or enter key to move the cursor to the next field before click on print (or print preview) button. This work around seems working fine, but some users told me that they never have to do this before, which I think they are correct. I guess it's the latest hot fix I installed cause this problem, but I can't confirm on it.

We are using SQL 2K5 database running on win 2008. Solomon is running on win 2003 server. Two citrix are setup for users to access to Solomon. This problem happens to regular solomon client, citrix, and solomon server. Hope this helps!

    Abby,
Could you provide me with some more information around the issue.

    1. What type of database are you using?
    2. Also what Operating System are you running?
    3. Does this happen on more than one workstation?

    Regards,
    Nick
