Drop down auto search not working

Posted on by 85

I have a client with two staff members experiencing the same issue. When typing in a field in Navision, normally when you start to enter text, a dropdown window will pop up showing the closest match, which you can then choose. However, this is no longer working for any field. They need to press the down arrow in the text box for it to show up. This only recently started happening, so I'm wondering if anyone would have any idea as to what may have caused it? (Perhaps maybe a recent Windows update, but I'm not sure. I also confirmed it wasn't just due to a filter on a wrong column giving no results).

Any help would be appreciated.  They are on Nav 2016 R2.

Thanks,

Diane

If this is happening only for some users then clear the object metadata, and Page Metadata for those look up pages.  For this you need to have access to Development environment or also try clearing the user personalization for those lookup table list pages.
