The contact table in BC is structured in such a way that customers and vendors are related to the table via a 3rd table - cont bus relation. What steps are the best for cutting over legacy contact data considering:
1. Need to link contact to customer or vendor
2. May have updates to the data before go-live ( will manual numbering have any issues?)
Hi, they are linked by table 5054 "Contact Business Relation"
You can import this data after importing Contact, customer, and vendor.
There is no problem with manual numbering, which is allowed by default.
